Our Story
In 1971, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nichols founded United Pies of Elkhart. They started a delicious tradition of fruit and cream pies that can truly be called 'homestyle'.
A year later their son, Frank Nichols, became actively involved in the company. United Pies continues to be a family-owned & operated business. Frank’s son, Josh Nichols, acts as V.P. & Managing Director, and his daughter, Kari Nichols, leads the way as President & CEO.
From the start, offering delicious pies has been our #1 goal. We've maintained the highest standard of excellence throughout the years. All our pies begin with a flaky, golden brown crust supporting the freshest tasting fruits and fillings you'll find today!
Quality Pies
All United Pies are made from scratch.
Fruit fillings are made with real cane sugar to enhance the natural flavor (never corn syrup). No pre-made fillers or fillings are ever used!
Our rich, flaky crust comes from a high ratio of vegetable shortening to flour.
Cream pies have cooked custard fillings made with milk, sugared egg yolks and real butter for a rich, full-bodied flavor - just like home-baked!
